NOC Engineer needs 2-three years background NOC Engineer requires: OSPF and BGP routing protocols, VRF, GRE tunneling, RIPv2, STP, HSRP, VLAN, EtherChannel, Ethernet, ASYNC, SYNC, cable pinouts, Layer one circuit testing/troubleshooting. Cisco 2911 routers (Layer 3) Cisco 3560 switches (Layer 2), expertise to manage competing projects and navigate through multiple organizations and systems. NOC Engineer duties: perform and implement IP network upgrades. Apply knowledge of LAN/WAN networking to install, change, and decommission network equipment, routing, and perform host migrations Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate vulnerabilities and improve overall network reliability
