The foremost role of the Area Manager is to support the mission and core values of Hoosier Gasket by managing the group leads of their assigned department(s) to assure customer demands and quality are being met to satisfy the needs of our customers according to HGC guidelines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for all functions, advancement, adherence to policies and procedures, and performances of the department(s) assigned as well as, ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all times, the department(s) are clean and tidy, attendance is regular and reliable, turnover remains low, and performing other work as assigned. Pursue continuous improvement by monitoring, measuring and analyzing systems to improve productivity, processes, tasks and ourselves.
