(HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Details Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide. HII - MDIS is currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist II to work out of their Kearneysville, WV office. Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following): * Provides configuration management planning. * Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits. * Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentation. * Responsible for configuration change control. * Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
