IT Administrator - (Hammond, IN)

Position Purpose: A Technology Site Contact is the central coordinator for hardware, software and various info protection qualifications for Cargill Starches, Sweeteners and Texturizers North America. This role is key to ensuring a positive info technology background to business users and meeting corporate guidelines. This role will be a liaison between Corporate IT, Plant IT, and end users to ensure proper incident handling and compliance with qualifications. Principal Accountabilities: 45% IT Liaison/Site Contact Manage Hammond and possibly some smaller site’s technology assets (new purchases, exchanges, and disposals). Coach business unit on proper procedures for software and hardware installs and changes. Be onsite hands-on support for corporate IT teams. Attend the corporate site contact meetings for communications, training, etc. Be a liaison for Hammond with the Cargill global helpdesk. Ensure tickets are being addressed correctly and occasionally escalate issues.
