Senior Production Mechanic - (Ronkonkoma, NY)

Currently hiring for a senior production mechanic for a food manufacturer located on the eastern part of Long Island. For this role applicants who are qualified must be comfortable working a flex steady schedule to help cover production or manufacturing breakdowns. ( There is flexibility to create own schedule) This is a direct hire opportunity Mon-Fri 40 hours a week $65,000-$75,000 a year ( compensation based on background) Responsibilities: -Must be able to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and packaging lines. -Background with rebuilds and fabrication of parts -Complete assigned work orders in a timely fashion -Must be able to perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups. -Background within high-speed manufacturing equipment. -Will be working on manufacturing equipment that requires refrigeration and HVAC repair background
