Maintenance Mechanic - (Belleville, IL)

We have an opening for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic in Belleville, IL. The facility manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers. Assignments include maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting and repair of machines. Applicants should have troubleshooting skills in industrial, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical failures, and the aptitude to correct those failures; also with basic understanding of electricity. Accurately completing administrative documents and following directions are important work traits. Must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required. Min requirements are a high-school diploma (or equivalent background) and 5 years of maintenance background with at least 1 year with the same employer or schooling in industrial maintenance field. Hiring process will include a pre-employment aptitude and mechanical testing. Starting pay level is $23.14 to $28.06 depending on skill level.
