Certified Montessori Lead - (Sugar Land, TX)

Requirements: AMI, NAMC, AMS or other certification Must show good leadership skills and expertise to relate well to children and adults, including parents, staff members, and visitors. Must be able to accept differences in style and personality among teachers and children. Must have the expertise to supervise 1 or more assistant teachers. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have the expertise to internalize and act upon suggestions and requirements imposed by Management Team. Must have the expertise to read, write and speak English. Position description: The Lead Teacher will be assigned to a specific classroom. Responsible for curriculum implementation which includes lesson planning and child assessment. Plans and implements activities designed to promote the social, physical and intellectual growth of the children under her/his care. Keeps parents informed of the progress of their child on a daily basis. May be assisted in the classroom by a Teacher or Assistant Teacher.
