Read on for details. To underwrite consumer loans via direct and indirect lending channels, following Credit Union guidelines. Major Duties & Responsibilities: Underwrites consumer loans according to established Credit Union guidelines, providing timely and informative responses for all loan requests. Supports the Underwriting Supervisor in maintaining Indirect Dealer relations, reports, and any other activity related to Indirect Dealer relations and lending, along with being aware of the dealership's delinquency and charge off ratios. Supports the Credit Union's member service initiatives by providing info, training, and education to fellow employees on underwriting philosophy, methods, and procedures.
