Publishing Sales Representative - Books of Discovery Job overview: Books of Discovery is an educational publisher in Boulder, Colorado. We are looking for a Sales Representative for our Education Accounts Team. This is a salaried (not commission-based) position. Training will take place in Boulder. Once trained, there is a possibility of working remotely a few days a week. This full time position is 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend travel. Responsibilities: Contact new prospects to offer review copies of our educational resources. Identify customer needs and educate them about our products. Send review copies to academic faculty and maintain communication with them throughout the duration of sales cycle. Respond to incoming review copy requests. Document all contacts and activities in our database (ACUMEN). Travel and exhibit at three to 5 conferences annually, including on weekends Maintain communication with our Advisory Council members. Manage Priority Accounts.
