SNC is looking for a Structural Engineer to support the analysis and certification of modifications to a military aircraft.PRIMARY ASSIGNMENTS INCLUDE:Develop load paths for attachment of mission equipment to aircraft primary and secondary structurePerform detailed structural analysis on both primary and secondary aircraft structure utilizing classical hand calculation methods and finite element analysisPerform fatigue analysis and detailed damage tolerance analysis on primary aircraft structureWork closely with mechanical design group to develop detailed 2D drawings for productionDevelop substantiation documentation to demonstrate compliance to related airworthiness qualifications including;Design DrawingsTest plans and reportsAnalysis documentsCompliance checklistsProduce detailed structural analysis reports to support aircraft certificationDevelop working relationships and directly interact with government subject matter expertsCollaborate with other engineering functions and subject matter experts on
