Configuration Manager Position summary : The Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) Common Ground System (CGS) program, Mission Support Team (MST) is seeking a highly motivated Configuration Management Lead to provide configuration management (CM) and on-site support for the JPSS CGS at the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) in Suitland, Maryland. The JPSS CGS program is developing the next-generation weather satellite system. Raytheon is developing, deploying, and sustaining the Command, Control, and Communications Segment (C3S), the Interface Data Processing Segment (IDPS), and the Field Terminal Segment (FTS). The perfect candidate will have effective communication and computer programming skills, ms excel at attention to detail, expertise to solve problems of moderate scope and complexity and a broad knowledge of CM Industry Standards and CM Tools.
