Diesel Mechanic - (Clackamas, OR)

Diesel Mechanic FULL TIME $26.58/hr Duties include observing and listening to truck in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures. Installing new ignition systems, aligning front wheels, changing or recharging batteries, replacing transmissions and other parts. Overhauling diesel engines, using mechanics hand tools, welding equipment, standard charts and hoists. Examining protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks; making adjustments using hand tools. Lubricating moving parts and driving repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications. PDX-04.
