The after school assistant teacher is responsible for preparing a warm and safe indoor and outdoor environment that is orderly, clean and appealing, and permits the child to grow, explore and learn from his/her activity. Requirements We seek a positive role model who embraces life-long learning and demonstrates a strong work ethic as well as a collaborative approach to education. He or she must have an expertise to relate sensitively to children, a high degree of emotional maturity and stability, and the good judgment to handle a crisis should it occur.
