Sales Intern - Heffernan Insurance Brokers Objective: This is a part time opportunity (flexible work schedule) focused on marketing and new business development. Duties and responsibilities: Collaborate closely with producers and other branch personnel to gain hands-on background. Execute marketing plans developed by the sales teams Telemarketing efforts - to include cold calling companies to set introduction meetings with producers. Following up with companies that producers have done a drop off at to set meetings. Mass marketing - to include email blasts, newsletters and other pertinent insurance publications. Accompany producers as they meet with clients, prospects and underwriters so that you can gain an understanding of the sales and marketing processes within our business Become familiar with the service functions of our business.
