Job summary Equipment Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Primary area of responsibility will be production equipment electrical controls. Mechanical design in Catia. Manage new equipment projects or equipment modification projects from concept stage through use in mass production. Managing large projects by tracking schedules and project accounting. Managing the shutdown installation work, including manpower, money, daily activities, safety, and complete project checkouts before plant startups Visual management to show project readiness, project development and project reflections. Develop solutions to problems to eliminate production down time. Determine root cause, and develop countermeasures. Manage equipment in your area of responsibility. Develop business plan projects for the next year. Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge Understanding of machine control systems and control system troubleshooting. 3-five years experience in manufacturing environment. BS or relevant experience. PLC programming.
