Draftsman Summary: This person is responsible for working directly under the survey/office manager to facilitate the completion of the drafting of plats of survey, construction sets, etc. as required. Should be able to take both criticism and instruction well, understanding that it is for personal development in this field. This individual should possess good organization, time management, interpersonal, and communication expertise. Duties: Complete final surveys and construction sets for submittals under the supervision of the survey/office manager. Assist in performing deed and survey research required to prepare for individual projects. Assist in the analysis of recovered deed and survey research. Perform boundary analysis and determination under the supervision of the survey/office manager. Resolve issues in a timely fashion. Assist in the day to day requirements of running an office. Occasional field work or travel may be required.
