The primary purpose of this position is to provide significant technical management oversight to a team of non­supervisory employees in accomplishing 2 grade interval work and to serve as the fighter & bomber aircraft armament systems technical expert and provide technical ability for the Directorate. Responsibilities Provides expert technical advice to senior leaders, functional managers and engineers in the maintenance, operation, and training related to complex and sophisticated fighter and bomber aircraft weapons release systems and equipment. Provides technical assistance in resolving extremely complex system/equipment problems. Provides technical and engineering support under Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) concepts to insure the system/programs being acquired and maintained are technically, economically, and logistically supportable.
