Details Technology Trainer - Austin Free-Net Serves as a trainer to deliver training for the ACCELERATE, a STEM-based workforce development program designed for participants to receive instruction and pass the national exam. This position will also assist with basic staff troubleshooting of the network, install and configure computer hardware and operating systems, printers, applications, etc. DUTIES Deliver curriculum which includes activities, hands-on computer activities, quizzes, practice test, and other adult learning tools. Reports must include attendances records for each student, progress reports, grades, and certifications earned. Ensures network security and connectivity Monitors network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses Assists in the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and passwords Answers and receives incoming correspondence in a prompt and friendly manner, directing calls and emails to appropriate parties
