Pharmacist - Pharmacy Benefits Coordinator - (Sacramento, CA)

Job details: This position exists to develop pharmacy benefit management and formulary management strategies to optimize the total cost of pharmacy care in the SutterSelect (SS) Health Plan and risk populations. Major functions of the role include coordinating health plan formulary management and strategies, PBM program oversight and contract management, liaison to sales, marketing, and product development staff, and health plan claims review and management. The goal of the position is to successfully manage the oversight, guidance, and management of the pharmacy benefit for beneficiaries of SutterSelect and to import Sutter pharmacy optimization strategies into the SutterSelect management system. Requirements: Licensure /Education: California Pharmacist License is required. Min of a Bachelor Degree is required. - Strong skills in ms word processing, spreadsheet and presentation computer programs, preferably Microsoft. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Technical and business background.
