Position overview Core Responsibilities: : Manage buying process for parts and materials in line with budgets, quality and delivery targets : Develop creative and innovative procurement processes to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement : Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships : Negotiate contracts, improved pricing and terms with suppliers; review opportunities and make recommendations for business savings : Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery and/or invoice issues : Ensure continuous supply of required goods; communicate any supply issues that pose a risk or impact business operations : Manage problems and schedule changes, communicate the impact on capacity plans and ensure changes are reflected in ERP systems : Prepare purchase orders reflecting final negotiations and terms : Provide technical assistance to engineers in the procurement process Requirements: :
