Position description Buyer/Planner Position overview Our growing company is seeking a Buyer Planner to join our procurement team. This position will report directly to the Purchasing Manager and will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding cost qualifications, evaluating suppliers performance for on:time delivery, service, price and reliability. : Interprets, coordinates, and executes purchasing transactions (orders, quotes, reschedules cancellations, etc.) within company approved limits : Investigates develops and implements new sources of supply : Prepare, issue, and review RFQs with Purchasing Management : Interprets and executes purchasing policies and procedures to internal departments and suppliers to ensure all conditions are met : Maintains the purchasing system and solves/corrects any issues that may arise with receiving, quality and payables
