Position details Position: Category Buyer Description: With an 85 internal promotion rate and rapid company growth, build your next career with the worlds largest pool supply retailer The Category Buyer purchases products for the business segments such as Distribution centers, stores and eCommerce in a timely manner to meet Sales, Inventory, and DC Services Level plans. The Buyer works with the Category Directors on inventory flow to assure that stores have the inventory to meet the departments sales plans. The Category Buyer assists the Category Director in reducing Dead and Overstock Inventory and creating exit plans for this product. Day:to:Day :Meets or exceeds Department DC Service level plan :Maintains Inventory within budget plans :Achieve Departmental sales plan :Reduces dead and overstock inventory Requirements: :Bachelors degree or equivalent in business field or min of 5 yrs background in wholesale, marketing, or a retail environment.
