Job details Job Location: 14000 Jamboree Rd, Irvine, CA 92606 Job classification: contract(6 mons) with possible extension Pay level 28/hr on w2 Requirements: - Maintain safety, 5S and emphasizes the importance of safety related to equipment and operating instructions and the safe handling of materials before, during and after testing - Perform chemical analysis and sample preparation in various areas of Analytical Chemistry using appropriate test methodology and instrumentation - Background operating several types of analytical instrumentation such as Thermal (DMA, DSC, TMA, TGA, Rheometer); Spectroscopy (SEM/EDS, FT:IR, UV/Vis) and/or Chromatography (IC, HPLC, GC, GC/MS) - Expertise to work autonomously or as member of a team - Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot and make simple repairs to laboratory instrumentation - Maintain a close working relationship with peers and members of PD, TCS and Operations - Analyze, compile, and present test results for review and approval by senior chemist or Lab Manager
