Quality Engineer II - (Colmar, PA)

The Quality Engineer is responsible for leading projects to continuously improve the quality of our products and processes. Working as a project leader and internal consultant the QE works closely with department leadership to define improvement targets, measure process capability, analyze process capabilities, implement improvements and control ongoing performance. Primary Duties: :Coordinate Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) process to resolve product and process issues :Collaborate with supplier quality engineers to identify and improve quality systems and identify process improvement opportunities such as implementation of statistical process control and waste reduction :Ensure quality issues for new and existing products are addressed proactively using Advanced Quality Planning tools including FMEA, Control plans, Process Flow Charts, Statistical Process Capability and Design of Experiments :Lead the determination of containment and root cause :Internal and customer complaint mitigation
