Engineering Assistant - (Milwaukee, WI)

Position summary ** This position is a temporary/contract position ** Duties: Assists engineering staff with a variety of engineering support tasks including maintenance of material data, drawing data, Bill of Materials (BOMs) or other engineering related items. :Performs a variety of tasks to support engineering applications and processes :Performs specific and limited portions of more complex assignments :Enters Drawing Management and Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance info for production, pre:production, service and sample parts :Loads Bill of Material (BOM) including parent and parent:component Note records :Maintains Bill of Material Note and Part Description Tables, Material Code Book; distributes new or updated info :Assists internal customers :Performs other duties as assigned Skills: :Fundamental knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of engineering :Basic knowledge of engineering related computer systems/capabilities :Basic knowledge of small engines and/or outdoor power equipment
