Position overview We are seeking (4) Engineering Assistant BOM Coordinators for long:term contracts with a major manufacturing company in the Milwaukee area. Description Assists engineering staff with a variety of engineering support tasks including maintenance of material data, drawing data, Bill of Materials (BOMs) or other engineering related items. :Performs a variety of tasks to support engineering applications and processes :Performs specific and limited portions of more complex assignments :Enters Drawing Management and Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance details for production, pre:production, service and sample parts :Loads Bill of Material (BOM) including parent and parent:component Note records :Maintains Bill of Material Note and Part Description Tables, Material Code Book; distributes new or updated details :Assists internal customers :Performs other duties as assigned :Fundamental knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of engineering
