HVAC: R Engineer - (Riverside, CA)

Position description Position title : HV/AC Engineer Department : Engineering Reports To : Director of Engineering/Chef Engineering SUMMARY Keeps the hotel facilities in optimum operating condition by performing maintenance and repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. :Maintains hotel heating/ventilation/a/c equipment in optimal operating condition by performing routine maintenance. :Takes special care to preserve historic finishes. :Completes shift checklists early in each shift and takes corrective action as needed. :Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. :Insures the hotel is supplied with adequate power by reading and operating gas, water, and electrical matters. :Is responsible for answering guests and service calls when assigned.
