Heat Exchanger Design Engineer - (Tulsa, OK)

Position overview Under the general direction of the Vice President/General Manager, the Design Engineer will have design responsibility for the shell and tube heat exchanger product line and assigned projects. Primary focus will be mechanical design, performing design calculations in accordance with the appropriate codes and standards, supervising the development of fabrication drawings and bill of materials. Position will collaborate together with the Thermal Engineer, Project Engineers, Designers and CAD Technicians and supervise their daily work on assigned projects and report progress. Position will also work together with Project Manager and will be responsible for the coordination and resolution of project specific technical matters. Provide technical support for Sales and Estimating during the inquiry process. Review customer specifications and project documents for incorporation into drawing notes, bill of materials and purchase specifications.
