Position summary Packaging company in Ontario is seeking a Machine Operator/Mechanic. This position is responsible for all aspects of machine operation and changeover activities to achieve max speed while maintaining quality. Job assignments: :Run machines efficiently :Make adjustments according to product being run :Maintain minimum speeds required :Quality checks and complete Inspection Reports :Perform and report daily machine clean up :Weekly and Monthly Preventative maintenance :Trouble shoot :Comply with good manufacturing practices :Verify needed parts and get them ordered :Comply with safety rules and regulations Job responsibilities: :Background working with Douglas, Krones and Kister (REQUIRED) :Background working with Shrink Wrap machines (REQUIRED) :High-school certificate or GED equivalent :Basic math skills :Previous equipment background in manufacturing :Expertise to read and understand equipment manuals, schematics :Effective written correspondence abilities, including legibility
