Maintenance Technician / Industrial - (Brewster, OH)

Position summary The maintenance technician is responsible for maintenance of safety equipment, utilities, steam plant, electrical distribution, water treatment facility, and sewage treatment equipment. Maintain, repair and modify equipment as needed to ensure that product quality, consistency and schedules are met with min deviation from established norms. Works as a team with maintenance and production personnel to ensure continuity between shifts and departments. Performs all other job:related duties as assigned or required by immediate supervisor. Brewster Cheese is a 24/7 operation. Prerequisites: Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Prior background in the industrial maintenance field Must have good knowledge of electrical controls and PLCs Be able to read schematics Have the expertise to exercise sound judgment and initiative with minimal supervision.
