Maintenance Technician - (Bridgeport, MI)

Position summary Bay Tech is looking for an able bodied Maintenance Technician in a heat treating facility. Responsibilities: :Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems :Determines, implements and executes preventative maintenance programs and emergency breakdowns which include: mechanical systems, electrical systems, control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. :Disassemble and reassemble robots or peripheral equipment to make repairs such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders and servomotors. :Assist with process improvements of robotic and automated systems. :Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. Qualifications: :Associate Degree in: Robotics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. :Three Years background in Robotics including trouble shooting, preferably with ABB Robots.
