Summary The cook is responsible for the daily operations of the food service activities for the child care center to which they are assigned. This position is 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year. Prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks for assigned centers(s). 2. Adheres to menus, as well as able to adapt menus for special dietary qualifications. 3. Order and store deliveries of food and related kitchen supplies, within budget guidelines 4. Shop at grocery store on an as needed basis within budget guidelines and pick-up of food from surplus food delivery site as needed for service. 5. Wash and properly care for the dishes, utensils, and kitchen and food delivery equipment.
