Corrosion Technician - (Oklahoma City, OK)

MATCOR is looking for Corrosion Technicians to join our engineering team. Our technicians perform duties involved with installation, testing, and evaluation of cathodic protection systems. They also evaluate corrosion on various structures and work with clients to assess and achieve objectives related to customer projects, needs and specifications. Duties Install cathodic protection systems, reference electrodes, junction boxes, cables, and rectifiers. Attach cables to structure via thermite welding. Perform cathodic protection potential surveys. Install, configure, and remove rectifier interrupters. Test, troubleshoot, and repair cathodic protection rectifiers. Perform close interval, DCVG, and ACVG surveys. Operate electronic pipe locators, including PCM. Be familiar with common computer applications, including Ms office. Monitor subcontractor performance, resolving installation issues and conflicts. Adhere to client and MATCOR safety requirements.
