Position title: Warehouse Area Manager Job Location: Mattoon, IL Reports To: Warehouse Manager FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt Exempt Classification: Executive POSITION DESCRIPTION The Warehouse Supervisor assists the Warehouse Manager in providing materials, equipment, and supplies by directing the receiving, warehousing, and distribution services. POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND KEY FUNCTIONS Assists receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures Hire and make recommendations on employment status Directs all store personnel to build revenue and meet sales goals Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
