The Chief Architect is responsible for providing overall leadership, establishing and maintaining technical roadmaps and representing all architecture disciplines for the Optum Technology Team with a primary focus on United Health Care: E&I Medical segment. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges Key responsibilities: Provide architecture thought leadership (e.g., tool selection, standards, strategic direction, etc.) Drive disruption to business models using new/emerging technologies Define and lead an application modernization and rationalization agenda Work across Operations, Employer and Individual business areas and Optum Technology Maintain a rolling 3-year UHC E&I strategic architecture roadmap in partnership with other segment chiefs (and socialize, evolve and obtain buy-in for the roadmap) Participate in ongoing architecture governance activities
