Job title: Loan Officer (Outside Sales) Reports To: Branch Manager Date revised: 12/2018 Purpose: The Loan Officer will be responsible for effectively self-generating mortgage loan production, referral sources, realtors, builders and consumer networking groups. This position is the backbone of Homeside by continually bringing in and closing loans to generate revenue for the company. When working in this position you will work directly with our retail sales team. Duties and Responsibilities: Originate quality loans by selling loan products and services to clients. Determine customer needs and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions. Generate new and repeat sales by providing product details and outstanding customer service. Maintain relationships with realtors, builders and consumer networking groups. Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications. Present price, credit and terms in accordance with workplace standards.
