Medical Records and Insurance Specialist - (Findlay, OH)

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the Medical Records for Bridge Home Health and Hospice to include accountable and tracking of outstanding documentation in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Perform initial and on-going insurance verification/authorization. QUALIFICATIONS High-school diploma Proven successful organization skills and customer service skills Medical terminology training or background Background in Ms word, Ms excel, and Power Point software Outstanding written and verbal skills Understands and respects patient's rights Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication expertise PREFERENCES Background in Home Health and Hospice Medical Records background PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS
