Essential Duties and Responsibilities Understanding and implementation of Maxim Safety and Shop Procedures Applies paints, stains, surface preparatory materials, and undercoating materials to a variety ofsurfaces, as appropriate, and according to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) ensuring compliance with hazardous material guidelines. Cleans, sands, sandblasts, scrapes, brushes and burns surfaces in preparation for painting. Operates heavy lift equipment including scissors and aerial working platforms. Maintains existing paint surfaces through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products. Identification, safe handling, and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, and other hazardous material.
