1st Nation's Focus, established in 2017, is a product of the Sierra Nevada Media Group (SNMG), based in Reno and Carson City. The mission of 1st Nation's Focus is to help serve the region's tribes and reservations and to teach all about the true essence and traditionalism of American Indian culture. 1st Nation's Focus concentrates on local and state tribal news, as well as tribal news in the world around us, in addition to a strong focus on content relative to American Indian culture and history. 1st Nation's Focus is seeking members of Northern Nevada-area American Indian tribes and reservations who are interested in being paid to write stories and/or take photographs for publication on-line and in print about regional tribal news and feature stories.
