Painter Helper - 1st Shift - (Waukesha, WI)

PRIMARY FUNCTION Loads and unloads paint line conveyors and hangs tanks. TYPICAL DUTIES Breaks down cubicle kits and hangs on conveyor line including covers, nut guards, and miscellaneous component parts. Unloads parts onto pallets or carts without damage to painted surface. Applies and removes thread protectors, masking tape and visually inspects parts for conformance to standards. Operates drop sections, shuttle cars, towers, and rotators to complete hanging of tanks, cubicles, and racks containing miscellaneous parts. Operates controls in selection process for color and destination. Visually inspects parts at load points, transfers, and unload points to maximize the quality of the product. Contacts supervision or utility for disposition of non-conforming parts. Physically marks part numbers on parts, attaches paperwork and dates where applicable. Operates stackers and jeeps to move material to and from storage and staging areas.
