SUMMARY : The primary function of this position is to weld fabricated parts used in the manufacturing process ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND PRESPONSIBILITIES : Performs GMAW and GTAW welding on various types of metals which may include some or all of the following:aluminum, stainless, and mild steel sheet metal and structural steel parts Able to read engineering drawings to include weld symbols and check work to print Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted Performs operator maintenance on equipment Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor/lead person Requirements REQUIREMENTS :
