Driver Trainer - (Kiefer, OK)

POSITION OVERVIEW: The key responsibilities of this role is the orientation, on-boarding and continuous training of drivers and safety sensitive employees. This position mandates a full understanding of transportation in the flatbed and heavy haul industry including DOT and applicable OSHA regulations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement new orientation and training programs for drivers and safety sensitive functions. Communicate and collaborate with organization leaders to identify training solutions that address negative performance trends. Conduct remedial driver safety training based upon performance and counsel drivers on performance (may include load securement, safe driving techniques, or phone counseling based upon violations or inspections). Actively work with operations for available drivers to conduct heavy haul progression course.
