Restricted to Smaldore incumbents PT Job overview Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients in an outpatient, ambulatory care setting while maintaining appropriate documentation. In collaboration with the patient and family, provides theory based professional nursing care and coordinates care delivery with the physician and other members of the health care team within the scope of the RN license. Follows department specific policies and procedures, and maintains competencies of assigned department. Requirements EDUCATION: Graduate of an licensed institution of Nursing; RN required, BSN preferred. BACKGROUND: three years background post graduation as a staff nurse. Background in specialty area assigned preferred. LICENSE/CERT/REG: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or a Multi-state, Compact-state or license eligible. CPR certification required. ACLS certification required by completion of introductory period.
