Volunteer Coordinator - (Medford, OR)

Overview To oversee and manage the Call-A-Ride and the Respite programs. The successful applicant for this position must possess great customer service skills as they will be working with 2 demographics: volunteers and seniors requesting services. They should be organized and have good oral and written correspondence abilities. Being flexible and working as a team player are crucial as we are a very small department. Responsibilities Recruit, train and supervise volunteers for the Call-A-Ride program and the Respite programs. * Interview potential clients for C.A.R. and; independently determine eligibility of clients for the program and subsequently enroll clients. * Work with Senior and Disability staff in assessing eligibility of potential Respite clients. * Maintain accurate records of registered clients and volunteers in each program.
