Warehouse/ Battery Laborer - (Richland, WA)

As a Battery Laborer, duties performed will consist of an array of functions that may include but not limited to Watering batteries, plugging and unplugging batteries, washing batteries, inventory of batteries and keeping work areas free of debris. Responsibilities: Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner. Oversee workflow related to all batteries needed for the material handling equipment. Maintain compliance with GWP’s and all other food safety requirements. Notify supervisor of discrepancies or potential hazards. Communicate with internal and external employees. Assist within other departments as necessary. Requirements and Education Requirements High-school certificate or equivalent Background with various material handling equipment such as walk behind jacks, pallet jacks, and sit/stand forklifts, required. Able to bend and lift up to 75 pounds. repeatedly Basic reading, legible writing and arithmetic skills required.
