Lockheed Martin is seeking a CNC Programmer to support the Pike County Operations (PCO) located near Troy, Alabama. PCO is a state-of-the-art facility providing the safest and most advanced missile assembly and test operation of its kind. This center support sales in excess of $1B annually. Primary Assignments include: Creating programs and routines for 5 axis numerically controlled machines using engineering drawings and specifications to define configuration of parts, the type and sequence of machine operations, and the proper cutter selections for each part, taking into consideration such factors as speeds, feeds, control system limitations and different types of cutters for the most efficient computer calculation of dimensional and machining to meet the engineering qualifications.
