Systems Engineering Staff / E4 / Airworthiness Engineer /Advance with Security - (Palmdale, CA)

The Applicant will provide support to a classified program in the development and execution of a plan to achieve Airworthiness Certification (AWC) for the vehicle. The successful applicant will be coordinating all AWC activities, including bidding, planning and executing the Statements of Work, as well as serving as the technical and management liaison for AWC. Main responsibilities is to gather data products required to achieve AWC, including the AWC Program Plan, Tailored / Modified Airworthiness Certification Criteria, TACC / MACC and USAR compliance verification documents, and risk assessments. Additional assignments include establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to AWC master plans and schedules and identifying and resolving programmatic issues. Work with System Safety personnel to develop Non-Compliance Risk Assessments to ensure non-compliant criteria are mitigated in accordance with Customer requirements.
