Subcontract Management Senior with Security Clearance - (Palmdale, CA)

Will support Palmdale Outside Production procurement team. Procurement of airframe build to print detail parts and assemblies from engineering drawings in support of various aircraft programs. Sources and purchases machinery, equipment, tooling, raw material, packaging material, parts, services and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization. Compiles info to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Confers with suppliers and analyzes supplier operations to determine factors that affect prices. Reviews proposals, and determines lowest costs consistent with quality, reliability, and expertise to meet schedule qualifications. Negotiates prices, recommends suppliers, prepares bid packages, analyzes trends, follows up on orders placed, verifies delivery, and maintains records. Will work with many internal and external departments and customers. Some travel may be required. Applicant must have the expertise to obtain a security clearance. Necessary experience Bachelors Degree required
