The van der Kolk Center at Glenhaven Academy is dedicated to providing world-class trauma-informed treatment to adolescents with complex trauma, mental illness, and behavioral struggles. Only the van der Kolk Center uses state of the art trauma specific models of treatment including the unique ARC treatment methodology, and works to ensure this treatment model is pervasive throughout all aspects of programming. Glenhaven Academy, a Justice Resource Institute program, is a private 766 approved residential school for adolescent students ages 12-22 with cognitive, emotional and behavioral difficulties. Glenhaven provides a complete, high quality educational background for each student within a safe, therapeutic environment. Our program is seeking a highly organized and professional applicant to serve as a substitute teacher with background in teaching high-school level social studies and history courses.
