Purchasing and Inventory Control Specialist - (Wilkes-Barre, PA)

A. Rifkin Co., a U.S. manufacturer of reusable security bags, is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Purchasing and Inventory Control specialist to join our team. Key assignments include: Purchasing research new suppliers; negotiate contracts and pricing; monitor inventory, buying, and usage trends; prepare POs; and inspection of goods. Inventory Control develop policies and procedures for storage and distribution of supplies; implement inventory barcode tracking system; conduct cycle counts, research discrepancies; and manage obsolete raw materials. Warehouse management assume full responsibility for the cleanliness, organization and functionality of the warehouse. Experience required include: 1-3yrs of purchasing and 3-five years of inventory and warehouse background in a production environment, knowledge of FIFO and ERP systems, BS or associates in Business or related degree, excellent organizational, communication and negotiating skills, proficiency with Microsoft office
